Peg Doll Nativity
This is a great Nativity to make for your children to play with and much cheaper than the plastic ones from the big box stores. I made this one for about about $6 using fabric scraps that I had on hand.
Here’s a tutorial for making peg dolls sans fabric clothes. If you want to make these, come back to learn how to make the faces and then add fabric clothes using your glue gun. Unless you’re the Pioneer Woman because I heard she doesn’t even own a glue gun! Oh the travesty. How does she survive?

These are so cute! We want to make them this year. Did you use hot glue on the fabric? Can you give me any tips before we start? I am not really very crafty so any help you can give would be great.

Yes! I hotglued the fabric directly to the peg dolls. I would just play around with the fabric until I kinda had it how I wanted it and then glue it. Plus you can always trim the fabric at the bottom of the peg doll to make it straight after you glue it so don’t worry about the bottom so much.
