In the blog world, it’s easy to see nothing but rainbows and kitty cats. If you live your life only in comparison to what people post about their lives then it can be extremely depressing. The truth is that what people publish is what they want you to see. Dirty dishes, fights with husbands, major tempertantrums (by kids, not husbands.. most days), PMS, running over puppies with cars, financial issues, issues of extreme stress, parental issues, etc. are rarely show but are a daily part of all our lives.
I wish tonight I could be bouncy funny and bubbly Bobbie but I can’t. It’s been one of those days that even I can’t poke fun at. But you know what?
These days happen. They suck, they suck life out of you.. but it’s true.
As my dad would tell me…. The bible says that you are wonderfully made (Ps 139:14).. so believe that you are. And when these bad days come, just know that it happens to the best. Shake it off and look up.
