There’s nothing like a good April Fool’s day joke. The good news is that there is still time to pull one off if you act quickly. So today I have a quick one for you. It’s easy and you probably have all the ingredients for it already.
Ready?
It’s fake spilled coffee, perfect for friends and co workers alike. Just make it the night before and then the next morning gently place it on your coworker’s stack of papers or on your sweetie’s favorite book. It will work like a charm.
To start you need white school glue or mod podge, brown food dye, coffee cup or styrofoam cup, and wax paper or parchment paper.
Place a little less than 1/4 cup of white glue or mod podge in a cup. If you use white glue then you might need to add a dash of water to thin it out a little. Mod Podge is already thin enough so you don’t need to add any more water.
Mix in brown food dye but remember that it will dry darker!
Mix, mix, mix…
slowly pour a small amount out of the cup onto the shiny side of the paper. Spread it around so that it is thin. Be careful to keep it from spreading underneath the cup because it will not dry if it gets under there. You really will not need a lot to have a good coffee spill since you spread it out.
Let dry overnight. You can use a hair dryer to speed up the process. In the morning peel it off the paper.
Do you see how much darker it is? Turn it over carefully, keeping the cup attached. There may be a few wet spots on the back of the “spill”. You can dry these with a hair dryer or gently blot most of the wet off and let it air dry.
Now you’re ready….
Place the “spill” wherever you think might be a good prank….

Just a thought, you could probably do this with a wine glass and red food coloring, put it on light colored carpet or furniture, it’d definately give the person a bigger panic attack
haha! That is a great idea! Maybe try watering down the glue a little too so it’s not so thick looking and more transparent?
