When we looked at this house we knew it had a great yard. There were two things that we didn’t really know. First was that to have a great yard it takes hours of work unless you are filthy rich and can afford your own grounds crew. We’re not filthy rich and the kids aren’t old enough to deem as our personal grounds crew so the back breaking labor is up to us.
The second thing that we didn’t know is that in the spring our yard would be a burst of pink from all the azalea plants. I knew that they were azalea plants but I forgot how many flowers each indiviudal one would produce. Imagine our surprise when we woke up one morning to this;
The side yard is the prettiest.
It’s gorgeous! Of course the hard thing is now staying away from the garden center because I’m afraid that if I buy and plant new flowers other ones will pop up in the yard unexpectedly!

What a beautiful surprise!!! I love azaleas! …and I was pretty young when my job as to walk the yard and pick up sticks for my dad before he mowed the grass…your girls could serve on your landscaping crew
We do try to make them help pick up sticks and pinecones but they always get distracted with something else. They do try though.
soo pretty! Ours all pretty much died out in the drought last year
Trey isn’t as disappointed about that as I am…
lol! Why have flowers? You could decorate your yard with deer antlers!
Our neighbors are blooming too and they are oh so pretty. Just wish they didn’t leave a big pink mess.
The previous owner must have know a house o girls(plus damion) was going to buy it next.. haha
Bobbie! Your house and yard ar just lovely! Wow! I cannot wait to see it.
