The other day I was browsing my second love, Instagram, and I saw an amazing camera strap that The Train To Crazy was showing off. So after a little stalking and some begging, I found the maker of the camera straps and got her to agree to sell me one.
It arrived in the mail this week and it is just gorgeous.
Isn’t it gorgeous? Terri Harlan of SewFantastic make it using Good Folks fabric from Ana Marie Horner. I love it because it’s patchy and girly yet Damion can still use my camera without it screaming “ruffles and fluff oh my!”.
I tried to get a self picture of it on my camera but apparently I’m horrible at taking my own photo in the mirror for two reasons. 1) My mirrors are too dirty and the flash just jumps off all the spots and 2) I don’t know where to look.
Also the lighting in our bathroom is horrible! (p.s. excuse the hair, I was attempting a new way to get waves in my perpetually straight hair.)
But back to the camera strap. It’s much longer than my old nikon strap so I can wear it across my body instead of just around my neck, which makes it much easier when wrangling a two year old. Plus it’s so much softer and comfortable than the basic black camera strap that came with my camera.
Sew Fantastic does have an etsy shop full of e-reader covers and crayon rolls in gorgeous fabrics but if you want a camera strap , you need to stalk her on Instagram. She puts the picture of the new straps up and they’re gone before they can ever hit the etsy store.
So there you go. If you need an adorable and affordable camera strap , you may want to head over to Sew Fantastic and either stalk her Instagram account or just email her and ask what she has available.

that is SUPER cute!!! I’m thinking that would be a GREAT gift for my sister
