My kids always amaze me with what they pull out of their closets. Sometimes it’s items that I haven’t seen in a year and I’m not sure where they have been hiding it.
Tuesday they both appeared wearing these dressed that I first showed you here on Clumsy Crafter two years ago! Yes I have seen them several times since then but never at the same time. That is the original picture from two years ago in 2010.
The great thing about these dresses is that they both still fit! Princess Girly girl had to wear tights under her dress since it was a little shorter than we like their dresses to be but it was still really cute.
The original posts about these dresses can be found here and the tutorial on how to make one can still be found on Create and Delegate. They are great dresses that are easy to make for beginner sewers and up. Yes, there is a little bit of sewing involved but it is minimal!
Princess Goofy still wears the tinkerbell dress from that post too all the time. This is why I love homemade clothes. I think they last longer and can easily be modified to fit longer.
