This week I’m going to feature a few of my amazing friends who also happen to be bloggers in Houston. These are the people that help me when I break my blog or just need someone to sound off with. One of those people is Vicki who writes Houston On The Cheap, an extremely useful guide to what’s happening in Houston that is free or extremely affordable.
Houston On The Cheap is a site that targets the Houston area but many times will post national deals as well so don’t write it off if you don’t live in the Houston area. Free food at various restaurants, free zoo or museum days and discounted tickets to events are a few of the great deals you will find at Houston On The Cheap. Plus there’s always great notices on national sales that you will need.
I find the best way to follow Houston On The Cheap is on twitter or facebook. Then it’s easy for me to find the deal that I want and then click over to the site to read more about it. Did you know that Chickfila is giving away some free food this week? Maybe you should head over to Houston On The Cheap to check it out.
This week Vicki is also posting about a great discount on edible arrangements (shipped) and free national park days along with discounts on Houston Rodeo tickets. There’s stuff for everyone, even if you’re not in Houston. Vicki is also just a great person with an amazing heart so supporting her blog is easy to do.
Also if you live in Houston there is a great photographer here that I also happen to call a friend. Christine Tremoulet is a boudoir photographer that wants to help women realize that they are beautiful. Honestly every woman that’s had a baby knows that everything sinks lower and sags bit more and you don’t feel as pretty. (am I right?). It’s not my personal cup of tea but if you are in Houston and need a boost in self confidence with some gorgeous pictures as proof, you will want to give her a call. I’ll stick to my turtlenecks and commercial strength spanx.

Love this! I love Houston on the Cheap as well! but thanks for the tip on following via FB and twitter because I already do, but. . . .for me sometimes everyone gets lost in the jumble. I’ll have to be sure to highlight her FB page on my everyday looks as well as her tweets. Good tip!
