Mom’s Confession

Moms Confession Moms Confession

A little over a year and a half ago this ultra cool chick, Kristi, showed up to our monthly Houston Blogger meeting.  You could tell that she had it together and the black leather boots just kinda upped the coolness factor to the point where I was way too geeky not so chic to even talk to her. Well it turns out that she doesn’t even know she’s cool and she’s become a great friend that I wouldn’t trade even for Starbucks home delivery service.

A year ago she decided to change blogs and start a blog that was geared more towards family life called Moms Confession. Cooking, cleaning, organizing, kids, etc…. You name it and she covers it. Her sons are amazing so I pay attention to it. Take the good advice that the people with great kids hand out and your life might be easier. But the best part of Moms Confession, in my opinion, are her recipes.

Kristi is an amazing cook. She’s not one of those super dainty cooks where you have to go to the fancy supermarket to get the ingredients that are going to take an entire day to prepare. Her recipes are the real food that we grew up on with a few tasty mix ins included. Who doesn’t love that.

I already told you about her Cheeseball that I still dream about but tonight I want to show you 4 more recipes.  So pick your favorite, or all 4, and click the picture of the recipe to go to her site and get the full instructions. Also please pin from Mom’s Confession directly so we can give credit where credit is due (because we all know that I make everything blackened and not on purpose).

  1. Oh man. I’m such a slacker. I’m feeling really bad right about now. I didn’t even know she changed courses on her blog. I’m so gonna go check it out. NOW. That food looks delish.

    Thanks for sharing.
    Your a good friend.
I hope you still love me too even though I’ve been crazy slackerish, not been able to attend meetings, self.
THis year is a new year!
I’m going to do better! Or get rid of my kids. I’m not sure which.

    • I’m hoping you’re the Nicki I saw registered for the meeting! You are great, a great mom that wants to be there for her kids and that’s better than stalking your friend’s blogs (most days anyway).

  2. Awww…Bobbie you are too sweet! Showing up to that first Houston Bloggers Meeting was a lot of fun and I’m so happy to be a part of the group to this day. Having supportive and caring friends like you makes my life fuller and happier. Thank you for your support as I transition into my new blogging life and I’m so proud to call you a very dear friend of mine!

Oh and just a little hint…a Starbucks home delivery is definitely in your near future! ;)

  3. Banana nut bread, duh.

  4. [hand on heart] i’m in awe of what you’ve written about your friend. So genuinely loving and supportive. Bobbie, you’re a jewel! I hope an opportunity to meet you soon. Xoxo
