This morning the TV just happened to be on but it had somehow been turned to a not too kid friendly TV show. I could hear the girls coming down the stairs so I just grabbed the remote and flipped channels. Somehow it landed on The View. I usually don’t watch this show but I guess It was fate because they had New Kids On The Block on.
Yes, I’m old but I grew up in love with almost all of them. Then there was a surprise announcement that they were going back on tour with 98 Degrees and Boys 2 Men. They were all there! My teenage heart just could not take it.
So now you understand how I wound up having a 90s music rock day on Pandora. But I don’t have speakers for my phone. So what do I do so I could continue to rock it out? I remembered a tip I saw on Pinterest a long time ago and I decided to give it a try.
All you do is put your phone in a cup. I think the instructions that I read a long time ago said to use a glass cup but we’re kid friendly plastic lovers so we do not have any glass cups. However it still worked!
If you put your phone in a cup it will amplify the sound and work as a speaker! However I found that it sounds best when you set your phone’s volume half way. If you turn it up all the way, it sounds a little distorted. I was amazed that this actually worked.
So what was I listening to today on Pandora?
It was 90′s run amuck! My kids were rolling their eyes non stop. I loved it!
Plus I have the honor of being able to rap Ice Ice Baby. I’m cool like that. They’re going to love it during their teenage years.
