The last few weeks I’ve been busy working on an exciting new project. I’ve been waiting to tell you guys because we needed to get things finalized but now I’m ready to bring you in on the supreme awesomeness. Together with my friend, Lisa, we are bringing a blog conference to Houston, Blog Elevated also known as BE conference.
Blog Elevated will be epic. Mainly because I love the word epic.
There’s all kinds of blog conferences out there for bloggers to attend. Motivational, purely networking, brand to blogger, and even just plain feel good styles of conferences all exist. But one thing that is in short supply are educational conferences for professional bloggers.
I have been so blessed to belong to the Houston Bloggers, which get together monthly to learn and network. Because of this group, I feel educated about blogging and if I don’t know something, I know I can turn to one of my Houston Blogger friends to find out. It has been a great blessing to me and it’s something we want to bring to other bloggers through Blog Elevated.
Blog Elevated will be in Houston September 19th-21st at CityCentre Houston. There’s already a few speakers lined up but I can’t spill the beans yet. Topics will include Taxes for bloggers, Copyright Law and Infringement, Time Management, Blog Calendars and Monetization along with other things that will make your brain swell. It’s things that every blogger needs to know to succeed and grow beyond themselves.
So that’s why I’ve been a little absent lately but the main thing that was taking up all my time is finally finished and slowly but surely I’ll get back to making things.
Somedays I craft with glue and somedays I craft blog conferences. We were made to be makers, so let’s get to it.
