St. Patrick’s Day Kids Crafts

St. Patty’s Day will be here in less than a week but you still have time to do a few St. Patrick’s Day Crafts with your kids.

4 leaf clover hearts St. Patricks Day Kids Crafts

The first one is very simple. We cut hearts out of green scrapbook paper by using folded method of cutting hearts. (Fold a piece of paper in half and cut out half of a heart shape leaving the crease in the middle of the heart).  The crease being there makes the perfect shape for a 4 leaf clover. Now Make all the points of the heart touch and glue down the right side of the heart only.

Add a green stem with a crayon and you’re done. It’s a simple but cute 4 leaf clover. It’s also great for teaching fractions to kids since you fold the hearts in half and there are 4 equal parts to the whole clover.

Next is Potato printing in a shamrock shape.

Step by step instructions for that post can be found here.
