How To Help – Oklahoma Disaster
It’s clear that in the next day or two we are going to learn the true depth of tragedy in the Oklahoma Tornado Disaster. But the sad thing is that in a day or two the news media will move on and the town of Moore and others affected will still be ripped to shreds. How can you give to Oklahoma? Simply by donating money to help them rebuild.
So today while this is on our minds, lets give back to Oklahoma after this devastating Tornado. By Donating money to Oklahoma you are giving them hope of rebuilding even after the news media is gone.
Below is a list of a places that you can donate money and know that it will be given to help this disaster relief.
United Way of Oklahoma – The United Way of Oklahoma is accepting funds that will then be redistributed to the organizations working directly on the ground for this tragedy. You can go here to donate.
Oklahoma Baptist Disaster Relief Fund – The Southern Baptist Convention has a disaster relief fund set up to benefit any disasters in Oklahoma. Any funds you give currently will go towards relief of this current disaster. Donate to them here.
Feed The Children Disaster Relief – Feed the Children is vowing to help bring people the everyday goods that they need to survive after many of them lost everything. You can help them provide these goods by donating here.
Team Rubicon – Team Rubicon consists of military veterans that still want to use the skills they were trained in during their time in the military to help people recover after a disaster. They are already on the ground in Oklahoma helping in the search and recovery efforts. You can donate to them here.
We need to give and give freely but let’s not forget the power of prayer. Tonight you can pray for families that won’t see their loved ones again to be comforted and for those who are physically hurt to overcome their wounds quickly.
