Simple kids birthday parties are the best in my opinion. Sometimes we do too much and go too far when our kids just wanted to have fun. You don’t have to spend several hundred dollars to have a memorable birthday party. A friend of mine proved this point with the simple Duck Dynasty Birthday Party she threw for her 2 year old son this weekend. It was still very much themed and enjoyable but it was simple and perfect.
So of course I snapped a few pictures to share with you. Then I realized that I could make it better by offering some Duck Dynasty Birthday Printables to you for free. That way if you want to have your own simple affordable party, you can!
The party theme was carried out by color. There were brown and green plates and napkins with yellow flowers and paper straws. Two hurricane vases were on the table filled with green, brown and yellow jelly beans. Ribbons in the same color scheme were tied onto mason jars and vases. A garden flag that my friend made welcomed everyone to the party and set the theme with balloons tied on the top.
Simple but fun right?
The birthday boy wore a camo shirt which said, “Happy Happy Happy to be 2” and had his face camo painted. The birthday boy’s great grandmother painted all the kids faces with any design they chose. She’s a very talented artist and the kids loved it.
Everyone was asked to wear camo but I missed that part on the invitation so our family showed up in neon colors. Oh well, we stick out, what can I say?
Finally it was time for the cake, which was amazing and the obvious well deserved splurge of the party.
Because I loved this party so much I made you some free printables to have your own Duck Dynasty Birthday Party without breaking the bank.
There’s an invitation that’s simple to use. Download the invitation template. Open it in your photo editing software or PicMonkey and add the text that you need such as the birthday person’s name, location and time. Then simply print it and send! You can also write out the information by hand.
Next there’s Duck Dynasty Water Bottle Labels. Why? Because it’s fun! Print them out, cut them to size and wrap it around the original label. Secure it with clear packing tape and you’re ready for a fun party!
