People always ask me if I ever get projects that just really mess up. Yes and Sunday was proof of that. I planned to paint a glass jar in my kitchen with the word "rice". Well I bought the wrong paint and then I applied it too thick trying to make it work for me and it bubbled up when it was curing in the oven. So we ditched the crafting and spent the afternoon at the park instead.  There is a huge park a few minutes from us that is adjacent to the lake and river that feeds into it.
