The Love Pie

The Princesses made their first apple pie the other day. It was a lot of fun but of course, with kids everything gets a little bit messier. Princess Goofy ate the apple peels straight off the table without the use of hands.Princess Girly Girl is really growing up and becoming a huge helper. Chinese the Southern Way

I made Beef and Broccoli last night for dinner. It wasn't until I had already decided to make it and cut up all the vegetables and meat that I discovered I was out of  soy sauce.  So being true to myself, I just decided to kinda make up a sauce. I didn't mention this to His Royal Highness because he is already suspicious of my cooking. One word... cowboy casserole... He will never trust me again. This is a cake that I grew up on. Seriously. Everytime I visited my grandparents, Granny would have a plum cake waiting for us. This is a cake I dream about. Last year I finally asked my mom for the recipe. I had never asked for it before because I thought that since this cake was so delicious, it must be the world's hardest recipe.
