Fall has finally started to hit south Texas. In fact, today the high was only around 85 degrees. That's downright chilly for a texan. With the start of fall it also signals the start of fall crafts.   Believe it or not, it is very easy to keep a spotless microwave. I shared this tip a few year ago but since there are a lot of new readers, I'm going to share it again. No matter how many teenage boys you have blowing up chili and other weird substances in your microwave day after day, it is beyond simple to clean it naturally. Saturday we had a small family birthday party for Princess Newbie. Last year for her party, which also was only for family, I went all out. Quick(er) Croissants

The other day I really really wanted some homemade chocolate croissants.  It was a hankering that I just couldn't shake.  Truth is that I had never made them before so when I googled a recipe I was shocked to find that it would take about 14 hours to make them.
