Anyone that has ever been a preschool teacher can tell you the recipe for homemade play doh from heart. Every christmas that I taught preschool, which was for years, I made a huge batch of playdoh, divided it up so that every child would get some and added a few alphabet cookie cutters to make the perfect affordable gift for a preschooler. The Day Crayons Met the Heat

Lately I've been seeing a ton of the same fabulous melted crayon projects online.  One of my favorite bloggers, Meg Duerksen, recently posted her version of it which you can see here.  (I adore her blog and it truly inspires me to love color and to use my camera more!) An Affordable Hair Saver

There's a huge rage right now called "dry shampoo".  Basically it's stuff you put in your hair when you don't have time to shower and it's maybe a little oily. Welcome to my life. I haven't had time to shower since 1999 but I try to do it daily anyway. A search on the internet, thanks to Al Gore, revealed dry shampoo for sale with prices varying between $9 to $25 dollars for approximately 3 ounces. I don't spend that much on my hair products. My hair is already gray and I'm only 30 25 with no hope of having super model hair.
