National Craft Month Inspiration

The last cupcake has been eaten, the balloons all withered away (just like my youth), and the music has stopped. However, we don't have to stop celebrating yet. My birthday is over but March is National Craft Month. If you ask me, an excuse to recklessly use your glue gun is better than a birthday any day. Hi Cowgirl

I grew up in a rural area, playing in the woods and deserted pastures. Truthfully I thought that I was pretty country. Once again, I was wrong. Or the smog of Houston has infected my brain and wiped all the country out of it. Not sure which one.   Today we went to see the trail riders come into town for the Houston Rodeo. We go every year. Iphone Pictures: Real Life

If you're new here than occasionally I like to post pictures I've taken with my IPhone. I know the quality isn't the best but it's real life. My phone is always with me and it's the thing I grab in a rush or when we're out of the house without our nicer camera. Posed pictures are great but one day I'm going to be really thankful for the invention of cell phone cameras because they capture the moments that I would have missed otherwise.   2011 started with a clean sweep, literally. Damion cleaned the garage while I was waking up (it's a process that shouldn't be rushed) We raked and bagged the rest of the leaves out front. Went on a family walk and played on the neighborhood graffiti wall  playground. We also took a plastic bag and picked up trash on our walk. Princess Girly Girl loved making the earth "all pretty". She's such a girl. Went to dinner at Fudruckers, which I LOVE. I think it's the cheese sauce.
