Yesterday we took the girls to the Bear Creek Park War Memorial here in Houston.   We talked to them for a few minutes about what it meant and why it was there. Do they truly understand? No.  But I don't think anyone truly understands except those brave men and women who have fought and served..... and given their lives for our freedom. .... and their freedom....
