OK… I know we’re a week into 2020 but I’m about six months behind on life so let’s just ignore the details and look back at my favorite craft ideas on Clumsy Crafter in 2019.
ONE – DIY Rag Rug Tote Bag

This bag was my #1 favorite project I made this year. It never failed to get a ton of compliments when I carried it. It is the project that made me want to throw my sewing machine across the room but the way it turned it out made it all worth it.

TWO – Easy Whimsical Paintings You Can Make

This year as I’ve struggled with depression, I’ve leaned heavily on painting to deal with it. It’s something I can sit and do while blazing music in my headphones. But here’s the best news – you can do it too. I’ve learned a super simple method to painting that anyone can do.

THREE – DIY Cactus Rock Garden

Black thumbs unite! I’m not joking. If you have a green thumb, just skip down to the next idea but for all of you that can’t grow a rock… this is your craft. I love how these turned out and my teen girls begged for them. This is a great craft for teen girls or for those of you that need a dose of green during these winter months.

FOUR – Painted Pencil Mason Jar

If you’re new here then let me let you in on a dark little secret – I am pencil obsessed. You can usually find one in my hands, two in my hair and let’s not count how many are in the bottom of my purse. They just make me happy. That’s one of the reasons that I love this DIY Pencil Mason Jar so much. It currently sits on my desk but they’re a great teacher gift or anytime gift for someone that works in education.

FIVE – Too Old for Snapchat, Too Young for Life Alert T-shirt

I get a lot of comments on this t-shirt when I wear it, including a pretty funny one from an elderly lady that I had the pleasure of bumping into in the restroom. It’s just a fun shirt to wear. But I gave you guys access to this free cut file so you can put it on a shirt, bag, sign… It’d make a hilarious birthday card. Take the free cut file and run with it.

There you go, 5 of my personal favorite crafts from 2019. Who knows where 2020 will take us but I’m hoping to Hobby Lobby and Michaels….
