Someone asked me the other day what crafts I blog about. As usual, I explained that I cover pretty much anything that doesn’t require power tools because I enjoy all of my fingers and other extremities.
Clumsy Crafter vs. power tools? Yeah.. that story doesn’t have a pretty ending.
However one of my favorite types of crafts is jewelry. Anything shiny and sparkly – I’m there. Plus jewelry always has a pretty ending.
Over the years I’ve posted a lot of jewelry tutorials. Some have gone viral on Pinterest and others, usually my favorites, sit ignored and lonely.
So today let me share with you a few of my favorites. If you find one that you love, click over to that post to read the full tutorial.
Are you ready to get this jewelry-centric party started?
1 – Floating Glitter Resin Necklaces
This is one of my all-time favorite crafts that I have ever made. I still wear these necklaces all of the time and they still look just as amazing.
Glitter makes me happy. Floating glitter? That makes me downright giddy.

2 – Wire Wrapped Bangles
I love these so much that I just bought the supplies the other day to make more of them. They’re fun to make and look like a million bucks.

3 – How to Make Paper Beads
If you are looking for a fundraising project for your teens or just want to make a fun project while you watch a movie, this is a great tutorial for you. I made myself and necklace and my kids made beads to sell. Ask friends for any old magazines they have lying around the house, add in clear nail polish and a glue stick and you’re ready to go.

4 – Simple Glitter Necklace
I wasn’t lying when I said I like shiny things. Glitter + more glitter is my life motto. This post went super viral on Pinterest and still to this day is one of my most popular pins on Pinterest.
The best news is that this necklace is so simple that it will blow your mind.

5 – Polymer Clay Heart Necklace
These are some of my favorite necklaces that never get any love. I have so much fun marbling clay, kinda like I’m obsessed with marbling paper, that I use this technique often. It’s fun and easy which makes this a great craft for teens to adults.
If you like polymer clay, make sure you sign up for the newsletter below because I’m working on a polymer clay slab earring tutorial.
