Valentine’s Day is only two weeks away! Which means it’s crunch time! Or take a nap time. I don’t judge. But no matter what stage you’re in, I wanted to share some of my favorite valentine’s day ideas from right here on Clumsy Crafter.
Lollipop Candy Cane Hearts
Let’s be honest, I had totally forgotten about this post until Facebook showed it in my memories earlier this week. Now I remember how much I loved these and so did my kids! They are so much fun and simple to make. It’d be the perfect thing to make for Valentine’s Day parties! It’s so simple and you can actually find the mini candy canes on Amazon if you don’t have any left from Christmas.
You can find the instructions on how to make heart shaped lollipops with candy canes here.
Easy Heart Canvases
Disclaimer: I left these out for almost a year straight because I loved them so much. Then I took them down and put them somewhere and now I can’t find them! But these easy heart canvases are so simple and fun to make. You don’t even have to use an actual canvas, a scrap of wood works perfectly!
Instructions on DIY Heart Canvas Decorations can be found here.
Love Rocks
Love rocks, it seriously does! This was one of the best projects that I’ve ever done with my kids. We painted rocks with hearts and on the other side, wrote simple messages of love and encouragement. Then when we were done, we hid them around our town. It’s just an amazing way to brighten a strangers day and my kids have been begging to do it again.

Burlap Heart Pouches
These burlap heart pouches are fun and simple to create. Permanent markers, burlap and a basic stitch create a little pouch that you can fill with scented items or even small candies.

Chalkboard Wreath
Save the best for last. I love making wreaths and I’ve made a lot of them! But this has always been one of my favorites. I love how simple it is but because it’s chalkboard, it’s easily changeable or personalized.
