We’re both women. Undoubtably We both love women in our lives and those who we are able to care for. But let’s get one thing straight; your organization fails in a monumental way when it comes to the care of women. This week you have proven time and time again that you do not stand by women. At this point the only thing I can say you honestly stand by is faith in your PR Company and the talking points they have given you.
The first video was released in which a doctor with your organization discusses how to get fetal tissue samples from an aborted baby without crushing the wrong parts, all while she casually munched on a salad and sipped a glass of wine. While I understand that this is something that you’re probably used to dealing with on a day to day basis and it’s just another day at the office, you have to understand that for the rest of America this was utterly heart wrenching and appalling.
Yes we knew abortion wasn’t a pretty picture. We knew that it’s so controversial that families have split over it and people have been injured, even killed, over this topic. No one pretends that abortion is sunshine and flowers but in that moment you refused to categorize the actions of your staff as anything less than another group’s fault. It wasn’t about what was happened during that lunch date, it was an extremist attack per your words. You refused to have sympathy or care for the women who might have used Planned Parenthood for an abortion who were now sitting there broken to pieces wondering if the child they aborted was sold for parts.
For a second when I heard about the second video, and watched it, I hoped that finally you would come out and just sincerely apologize and pledge to make a difference in some way. Maybe this time you’d finally find the heartfelt words to speak to the women who have trusted you and your organization to help them in some way. But there were no heartfelt words just another set of talking points about what Planned Parenthood does that is good in your eyes and why the extremist here are to blame.
You have totally failed to see that it is no longer about the extremist. This anger and rage at Planned Parenthood is way beyond the extremist at this point.
I am pro-life 100%. Yet I have never picketed Planned Parenthood or made threatening phone calls. I’m not going to call out or belittle women and friends that I know do use your services. The worse I’ve ever done is pray quietly for the doors to Planned Parenthood to close permanently when I drive by the huge multi-million dollar property you have in Houston. I am not an extremist unless you consider a praying woman to be extreme.
I am not an extremist but I am part of this uprising against you. So are the millions of Americans that are also enraged and disgusted with your company’s actions. We are not extremist. This is not simply an attack by extremists anymore, this is way beyond that.
This is a call for you to leave the talking points at home and fix what is abhorrently wrong with your organization. Even if you claim it’s all edited video, when the unedited versions are all available, there is still hurt running rampant in this country at the hands of your staff who are in the videos. Your very refusal to admit that something went wrong somewhere in the line is making matters worse.
In fact, it’s obvious that since Planned Parenthood hired your new PR firm to help you deal with this, your position has become one of a victim. Your website was attacked and you haven’t put it back up yet to block more attacks. Or is it because you want people to know that you’re being attacked and are a victim? People are asking simple questions of you and your first line is one of defense, that it’s the fault of extremists that are keeping 200,000 women a day away from healthcare. Your twitter account is quick to remind us of this over and over again.
Your PR strategy is predictable. You’re the victim, it’s the extremist’s fault, 200,000 women a day are being blocked from healthcare, only 3% of your services are abortions and you do not participate in illegally selling fetal body parts. Did I get all of the talking points correct? Good. Now ditch it.
These are not fetal body parts. As one of your doctors said in the 4th video, it’s a BABY.
YOU have told women it’s just tissue. YOU have made them to believe that it is not worth their time, yet you make it more than worth your own in compensation. YOU have told women that they could help others by donating the remains of their unborn child to science and yet donating suggests that it is freely given, when we now know that is far from the truth. YOU are the ones that now have left women that used your services utterly destroyed, not knowing what happened to the unborn child they trusted you with.
Your company does not help women in any way. It destroys women. Planned Parenthood lies over and over again to pad your own pockets. If it wasn’t true than you wouldn’t need to memorize a script to dispute the lies.
I do not believe you’ll be defunded or that your doors will close this year. The politicians that accept your donations, some of it probably from the sale of baby parts, will save you. Your business will be saved on paper because of the power of those whom you have bought.
But in truth for this generation, your business is destroyed. You won’t shake this no matter how many times you cry victim. The true victims are the women that you convinced that you cared about them and their unborn children that you have so little care about that you refuse to admit they’re anything more than a clump of cells. I didn’t know that a clump of cells had human parts and organs you could sell but now everybody in America knows and will remember.
Your talking points won’t save you, no matter what your tone is. The compassion that only comes from truly caring is the only hope for Planned Parenthood at this point. Sorry to say we all know that isn’t a possibility.

A Letter To Cecile Richards About Planned Parenthood
These are just my thoughts on the videos released this week that deal with the sale of fetal tissue (baby parts) by Planned Parenthood. I know this is a controversial subject but because of the refusal of mainstream media to cover it, I need to be that voice who will cover it even though I will come under fire for it. I know some of you will disagree. I know some of you will be angry and choose not to read this blog anymore. I’m sorry but someone has to say it and if it means that my blog has no followers at the end of the day, it’ll still be me.
In no way am I judging you if you have had an abortion or considered one. It’s an extremely difficult choice, one that I feel people are not always told the entire truth about beforehand. Please feel free to contact me if you are one of the women impacted by this and need support.

BRAVO! It is about time someone took these people to task. I don’t agree with abortion, but that is a personal choice, made for any number of reasons BUT for PP to sell the body parts of these aborted babies is revolting. These poor women that now must wonder if that happened to their baby. Abortion, in my opinion, causes more regret than anything else now comes with this extra burden. I pray, also, for the women who see no other choice than abortion and for the unborn that suffer the consequences. I am proud that you have taken a stand and I, for one, will continue to follow your blog knowing that you truly have a conscience and will speak the truth, no matter the consequences. Thank you!

I couldn’t agree more.. Planned Parenthood is not for women’s health in fact most offices do not even do gyno exams , breast exams etc yet those are the first services in their battle cry that will be lost without governmnet funding.. It is a horrible organization in y opinion.

Thank you for this. As someone who was adopted, and not long after Roe v. Wade, I can’t begin to express how blessed I feel to be alive. To have had a birthmother who chose life.
It has been so hard to watch these videos, but I have made a point to do so. It breaks my heart that human beings are speaking of other human beings like they are nothing, while picking through them. How did they come to be so unfeeling? My heart breaks for every woman who is encouraged to have an abortion, for every life lost, and for the doctors and employees who don’t see the true worth of the babies they hold in their tools and trays.
And so we pray. May Your Kingdom come on earth as it is in Heaven.

I truly hope you gain followers because of this post and continue writing posts like this because the truth needs to be shouted loud (since clearly the media has no desire to share it!) I feel sick to my stomach watching these videos and just hug my sweet little girl so tight and cry for all the babies who have been killed 🙁 My brain can not understand how anyone can think abortion is okay……
