An Introduction.. Hi, My Name is...

In the past few weeks, there’s been a lot of new followers jumping on the Clumsy Crafter bandwagon. I hope you all brought your own glue guns and glitter.

But since there’s some new people, let me take a minute to introduce myself.

My name is Bobbie. That’s Bobbie, as in a female, and not Bobby, although I’m regularly referred to in email from my child’s school as Mr. Byrd. I was named after two of my grandfathers, Bobby and Joseph… which makes my legal name … wait for it…. Bobbie Jo. Yes. Did you hear the banjos playing? Me too.

About me – I’m a book crazy reader that should have married my Kindle. When I’m not working on digital graphics on the computer, or out with my family, I’m usually in bed with a book. I also can’t tell you what my favorite color is because I love them all or what my favorite food is because I want to try them all. My husband says that he always knows I’ll order the weirdest thing on the menu. Challenge accepted, I say.

I live in Houston with my husband of 15 years and three girls. They’re currently 13, 12 and 9. However that’s days away from bumping up to 14 and then 13. Our oldest two girls are close in age but there is a year between them. They are all polar opposites of each other with our oldest being a swimmer, our middle is also an avid reader and our youngest likes video games (a lot).

Occasionally you’ll see their pictures pop up as the models on this site, which means that I’m blessed to have ten years worth of their pictures here on Clumsy Crafter.

I mean…

Does it get any cuter? Nope.

Oh wait…

Now they look more like this.. and spend most pretty days outside in the same way. This year we need to buy a third hammock.

But that’s not the only reason you should follow on Instagram. I like to take people shopping with me in the stories. Yup, come with me on a trip to the craft store. I’ll give you some ideas and tips to try for making your own crafts or saving money on craft supplies.
