There were recipes like Icebox Pie that reminds me of my grandmother that almost took the favorite project award.
Or there’s the silhouette on glass using window film that I just love and I’m waiting to hang in our room but it wasn’t just quite there.
And the mini canvas magnets are one of my favorite things for sure. They make me happy every time I look at them on the fridge, holding up crayon masterpieces.
But without a doubt, one just really made me happy. It’s glittery and shiny, which I love. They’re easy but look like they took forever. And if you give them as a gift the people will think you spent hours and hours on them.
My favorite craft project from 2014 was How to Make Wire Wrapped Bracelets.
They didn’t go crazy on Pinterest or Facebook like some of the other ideas I’ve shared this year. They’re not the most popular idea, but I still love them.
I love to give gifts, especially ones that I’ve made. Mr. Byrd asked me to buy a gift for a friend that was graduating with her masters from Florida State University. I made these bracelets for her using her school colors and they came out amazing. The best part was that Mr. Byrd loved them as well and asked me where I bought them at. Now that’s a successful handmade gift!
There you go. That was my favorite project from this year. Is that what you expected it to be?
