Cereal Milk Popsicle Recipe
- 4 Cups whole milk
- 1/2 Cup of heavy cream
- 1 Tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 1/2 cups of cereal of choice
- Mix 4 cups of whole milk, the heavy cream and brown sugar in a large bowl. Add in the cereal, cover, and place in the refrigerator for at least an hour. Occasionally stir the mixture. The brown sugar will dissolve as it steeps in the refrigerator.
- After an hour or two, strain the cereal through a large strainer into another large bowl. Discard the cereal mixture.
- Put a handful of cereal in each popsicle mold. Fill the remainder of the mold with the milk from the strained cereal.
- Place in freezer for at least 4 hours or until frozen.
- Tip: Fill one of your popsicle molds with liquid and then measure the amount of liquid that one mold requires. Multiply that by the total number of molds you have to figure out how much liquid your popsicle molds require. Edit the ingredient amounts above to produce required amount without making too much.
