4th of July is in a week! There’s tons of 4th of July and other patriotic outfits that you can buy but why purchase something when you can have fun making it? These shirts are simple but fun. All you need is painter’s tape and spray paint.
Yes! Spray paint will work. If you spritz lightly it won’t make the shirt stiff or gross. It dries very quicky and can be washed and dried normally. These shirts can really take a beating. This is actually an old tutorial that we made 5 and my youngest is still wearing her sister’s old shirts like this!
The good news is that if spray paint freaks you out, they now have aerosol fabric paint at the craft store!

For those of you that are wondering, these shirts hold up really well even in the wash!

Also… can we just talk about how little and adorable my kids were? Now they’re the same height as me. How did that happen?
Have fun crafting!
