Slime is something that I still don’t understand kid’s obsession with it. Honestly when find it in my junk drawer and hanging in strands from our picnic table and I think it’s not worth it. But then I give all my kids the supplies to make slime and not only does they all work together in perfect harmony to make all kinds of slime recipes but then they turn around and explain the scientific process of making slime in words that I don’t understand and I’m sold on it.
It might be messy at times but if you make my kids fall in love with science and making things, I’m here for ya.
In fact this monster slime is not my creation. No, it’s my 12 year old daughter’s creation.
In fact, she disappeared for
Honestly… this is cute. Plus this slime adds another sensory experience because the eyes make shaking noises as you play with it.
If you want to make this slime, it’s easy. Super Easy.
After you have your slime base you add the following supplies:
- Orange food coloring
- Iridescent glitter
- oogly eyes (grab these at the Dollar Store!)
Once you have your slime base, add the food coloring and work it in until it’s the color you want. Add a little bit of glitter – it doesn’t take a lot. Finally mix in your googly eyes.
When it comes to googly eyes, the rule is always more is more. Don’t skimp on those eye balls! Add a lot.
You want to add a lot of them so that when you stretch the slime out really far, there’s still some cute eyes looking at you.
Who doesn’t love that?
This would be the perfect goody bag gift for a monster themed party or a great creation for a fun VBS craft.
