Easter is a hard holiday for me to get crafty for. Damion’s birthday, My birthday, Princess Girly Girl’s birthday and then Princess Goofy’s birthday all happen around the 7 weeks that might or might not include Easter, depending on what week it falls on that year.
Usually my mind is so racing with birthday junk that I look at the calendar and say, “Oh.. Easter is this weekend!”. And of course I’m not the sharpest tool in the shed so even attending Palm Sunday services does nothing to remind me that Easter is the next week. Then when I do remember I would rather take that time to teach my kids the reason behind Easter than to fill it with nothing but bunnies and peeps. (Except smores Peeps, those might be on the to-do list for this year. )
However as I was playing online, I came across this idea from Fab N’ Free that I loved beyond love. I have seen the “You’ve been egged” game in the past but her free printable just takes it to another level and I love it.
Don’t you love it as well? Fab N’ Free got the idea from this blog but then turned it into a fabulous printable. Now I’ve spent the past few minutes trying to figure out what friends we are going to egg.
Honestly this is a great idea for so many different types of people. You could egg a house of a child that has been sick this year or even egg a single mom’s house when you know the kids are at school and leave eggs with money and Starbucks gift cards.
Last year I also made this free Easter Printable that you might enjoy. Just print it, frame it, and place it. 5 minutes to great Easter decorations. You can print it here.
Easter is early this year! You better get ready!
