A while back, I took my Instagram followers on a little “get crafty with me” tour through our local Michaels Arts and Crafts store. During that time I walked the store and showed them
Here’s the kicker – I didn’t buy the flowers that day. I went home and thought about them so much that I went back the next day and got them.
You might think I have enough hoop wreaths already since I have the Easy tulip hoop wreath that’s in my office and the wreath from my DIY Hoop Wreath tutorial, which my daughter stole for her room. However! I fell in love with those dark purple leaves and when I put the peachy roses next to them I knew I needed them in my life.
I just love the colors.
Just look at those colors! I think it’s a modern version of the classic fall colors.
I also did one thing a little bit different with this wreath. I modpodged newspaper clippings onto a round chipboard wreath form.
I like how it just gives it a little texture and makes it stand out from the crowd.
If you have never made a hoop wreath using wire (the easiest way to make a hoop wreath) then you can get full DIY step-by-step hoop wreath instructions by clicking the link.
This is not going to be a full tutorial. I know! The madness! But you have two great options if you want to make one yourself. The first is to click that link above for the DIY step-by-step hoop wreath instructions, where I will show you how to make a hoop wreath. The second option is to watch this video below. It’s me making this wreath in double time. It might give you a few ideas on how you can make your own hoop wreaths.
Hopefully, you’ve found some inspiration. Don’t forget to save this image to Pinterest so you can come back to it later and follow me on Instagram so you won’t miss my next walk through a craft store.
