I have something embarrassing to tell you, my friends. (Deep breaths)… I know this is a judgment free zone (because yall forgive me for having the world’s worst looking hot glue gun).. so here it goes….. My front door is naked. Naked. It’s bad enough that the previous owners painted it a very unfortunate shade […]
It’s always funny when you’re packing everything up at the end of the Christmas season and somehow you need to figure out how to stuff 35 paper Christmas gift bags into one tiny wrapping paper storage box. There’s also a little bit of sadness when a really cute gift bag that you found gets torn […]
LOVE it! So cute and creative on a budget… And your daughter just adds her charm to the costume!
thanks Vicki!! You inspired me to try and make it!
Had to come here to check it out (via We Are THAT Family). You are crazy creative!! What a cute costume!! The only thing cuter is the one wearing it!
Came over from “We Are THAT Family.” Adorable costume and your girl is too cute! You’re so right about the costumes being so expensive! I usually make my boys wait until the day after and then we buy tons of costumes for about $50. Some are put up for gifts for Christmas or for other kids and some get use right away. We have 3 boys and they love to be Clones, Jedi, Power Rangers, etc. Since we homeschool, they may go days without putting on “real” clothes and instead wear only costumes. At least we’ve gotten our money’s worth on those!!
Tooooooooooooooooooooooooo CUuuuuuuutttttteeeeee!!!!!!
Can you feel my enthusiasm? Love it! And for $6 bucks. Cant beat that with a bat. Great minds think alike. I was just typing about a similiar thing today on my bizzy blog. Now I have one kid down, and 3 more to go! And I’ll be making all those bad boys from scratch. Maybe I can convince one to be a flower pot. Though, they’ll probably want their plants to be dead.
THis is sooooo adroable!! Can’t wait for a little girl one day 😉
Hi this is Nicole from Colie’s Kitchen. I saw your blog on
Houston Blogger Chicks website. I am in Houston also, and wanted to drop by and
check out your blog. I am now a new follower. I can’t wait to read more!! If
you get a chance I would love to have you stop by Colie’s Kitchen. http://www.colieskitchen.com

I don’t have kids, but if I did, I would definitely be making this! Very cute! Hmmm…I don’t think it would work for my bulldog…..nope, worth a shot, though 🙂
Adorable!
Umm, you are so awesome! So cute!! 🙂
What a cute idea!!!
Making this for my almost five year old this year! Ended up running me$25 but that’s including green pants and a long sleeve top. Since we are in Mi warmth is a necessity. Still, a WalMart costume in a a bag would run me the same and I know no other kid will have this. Thanks for the amazing idea!
I’m glad you liked it! The problem in Texas is finding costumes that the kids won’t sweat to death in!
So totally cute. These great ideas need to be posted at the beginning of October. I like to be settled on something and done with it right away. Great idea! Thanks for sharing!
