It’s always funny when you’re packing everything up at the end of the Christmas season and somehow you need to figure out how to stuff 35 paper Christmas gift bags into one tiny wrapping paper storage box. There’s also a little bit of sadness when a really cute gift bag that you found gets torn or tossed in the trash. That’s why today I’m going to share with you this free Christmas cut file that you can put on reusable canvas bags and use over and over again.
One thing that my family has really focused on this year is using less and buying less. That means that if we can go without a plastic bag, it’s what we’re going to do. I almost hate seeing the huge trash bag full of wrapping paper on Christmas morning. It’s just waste and will be thrown in a landfill.
This year I want to try to do something different.
I think I want to try to slowly move our gift giving over to reusable bags or recycled forms of wrapping paper. If that means that we have to DIY gift wrap, that’s what we’re going to do.
That’s one of the reasons I came up with this cute and funny free Christmas cut file. Not only will it make people laugh but it’s so simple to put on a reusable bag that you can use again or the gift receiver can reuse the following year.
Plus a package of three small canvas totes at the hobby store is only about $6. Use a 40% coupon and you’re getting the best deal on Christmas gift bags in town.
Soon I’m going to show you how to make the red glitter striped bag as well. Make sure you’re signed up in my newsletter below if you want to be notified when that post goes live.
As with all free resources on ClumsyCrafter.com, this is for personal use only. You may not use this file to sell products or in any other commercial capacity.
