Haven Grace passed away Wednesday afternoon. I am struggling to find the words to say what I want to say. Forgive me if this is blotchy or not well written because I just want you to know what is happening because of Haven.
Haven’s Facebook page grew to over 5,000 people that were praying for her and her family. There are people on it sharing their testimonies of how she has impacted their lives for Christ, some of the people have never met Haven or her family. The words of her faith and testimony are are helping others overcome.
One of my favorite songs says the words, “we will overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the words of our testimony.” That has come true through Haven Davis this week.
Haven’s grandmother said on Facebook that Haven was showing more concern for others than she was for herself. She was selfless and wanted to talk with God in prayer.
Haven at three showed more faith and wisdom than I do on a daily basis at 30.
Yes, Haven has passed on to heaven but her legacy here is so large and so deep that I don’t think we’ve even started to see the impact that it will leave.
Here are some news stories about Haven Grace by real journalists that actually make sense;
A memorial celebration service will be held for Haven Grace at Green Acres Baptist Church in Tyler, Tx at 6pm on Monday, January 9th. Everyone is invited to attend.
A fund has also been set up for the Davis family to help with the funeral costs and medical bills. Haven’s parents planted a church in Tyler. Her dad is the pastor there of the small but still growing church. They need all the support and help we can give. You can find the link on her facebook page, Praying for Haven Grace.
