Friday night was a special night in our family. Princess Goofy graduated from kindergarten through our homeschool co-op.
They read a little bio of Princess Goofy including her love of having birthday parties for her teddy bears, how she loves to pray and most importantly that she likes being loud. Then Damion got to present her with her diploma and together they walked back off the stage.
Honestly I had teared up earlier in the day thinking about her graduating from Kindergarten. Then I was reminded that one day…. there’s gonna be high school graduation… and then college… and I about lost it. Buy stock in Klennex, it’ll be a great investment in about 11 more years.
And in typical Princess Goofy style, somehow during the graduation her hat got put on backwards.
She lights up our life. But the best part is that no one has told her that typically after graduation you’re out for summer so today we set down at the table for school and not one word of about not having to do school escaped her lips. Whew. Crisis adverted.
We had my daughters Kindergarten graduation in April (no co-op, just at home) and we were back to the books the next week. We just take our breaks whenever needed! Here in Texas I would rather take a nice break in the fall when it’s not so hot anyway!
Bobbie, that is so special…thank you for sharing. And I love that you still had work to work on:) I need to think of something special for Erika…well, Francine is coming the next week…that is pretty special. She told me today that Francine is her best friend…see you soon:)
