Merry Christmas friends!
So… Not all of the Christmas crafts I had planned got done this year. There might be two un-photographed but totally finished crafts sitting on my desk right now. There might be pieces to another craft in a box, sitting on top of the unfinished Thanksgiving craft. It happens. Maybe the same thing happens at your house.
I would love to tell you more about those crafts and what I have coming up for 2019 but right now, let’s be honest – I’m exhausted.
I’ve figured out that the key to motherhood isn’t raising perfect kids, it’s making it through the holidays while appearing to be well rested and put together.

Soon my kids will be up and we’ll open gifts. Hopefully we won’t be in the ER later when my youngest gets the hoverboard she’s been begging for. (If that doesn’t do it then the slackline might.) As exhausted as I am, I know for certain that any gift under that tree could never amount to the gift I’ve been given in my life of faith, love from my family, and a savior who came to earth as a baby.
