In honor of Mother’s Day this weekend I thought I’d just share a few older posts about being a mom.
This is one of my favorite ones because I still remember that day. This is one of the reasons that our youngest is nicknamed Monkey. If you let her near your shoulders, she was going to sit on them (or your head).

What to do if you’re still needing a gift?
Personally I think that the Simple Rose Tote Bag is the perfect gift for any mom because it’s easy enough for even dads and children to make.
Finally let me take a second to say something that I’m passionate about. Mother’s day is great and moms should be honored. But there’s people out there that have a hard time dealing with it. Maybe it’s a woman struggling with infertility or a woman who lost a child. Maybe they’re estranged from their mother with no relationship to celebrate on Mother’s Day.
Also let’s remember the people who lost their mother this year. Damion’s grandmother passed away in January and my brother-in-law’s grandmother passed away yesterday.
As we’re busy celebrating and posting pictures of our semi dangerous to eat breakfast in bed, let us say a prayer for those that are hurting.
Happy Mother’s Day. You’re beautiful!
