I remember he loved this one because he actually called me from work just to talk about it. First of all, he doesn’t call from work – he just texts me for everything. Secondly, he said I should do it more often, which I should… but I haven’t.
He also really loved the DIY Flag T-shirts and of course asked a thousand questions about WHERE I spray painted the shirts at. (I have a paint spill issue.)
Of course he loved the post about the Father’s Day Tradition of special t-shirts as well.
The post and project that he really can’t believe I did was The Pencil Prank.
He still shakes his head when I remind Kelley Grant that she’s the one that drove around Houston with an “I love Pencils” bumper sticker for the day.
But if I had to pick a craft project that really shocked him and he loved how it turned out, it would be the Washi Tape Chair.
I remember him asking me how it did when I posted it. He wanted to know if it had been shared on social media or a lot of comments. When I told him that it hadn’t really gotten a response, he was baffled.
Sometimes he doesn’t get the projects that I do or understand why I would even want to do that but this project he really loved how it turned out.
So without making Mr. Byrd go through a hundred posts, I’ll leave you with those guesses on what I think his favorite posts from this past year are. Hopefully he agrees.
