Let’s just say that I took maternity leave a few months early. But the news that all three of you have been waiting for is here. The newest princess has arrived.
Princess newbie arrived on August 1st at 7:36am. She weighed 7lbs 13 ounces and was 21 inches long. To say that she is sweet as sugar is an understatement of grand proportion. I am happy to report that she has my laid back personality but that is all she got from me. She looks like a little female version of His Royal Highness. Something about the way her forehead smells has made us fall head over heels in love with her. It is the perfect scent of warmth and love. You know you are a new parent when you obsess about the smell of your child’s head.
We’re all starting to get back into the groove of our lives. Now if I can only get her to sleep on a schedule life would be perfect. Well that and if we could get the other two princess to CLEAN THEIR ROOMS! agh! That’s another story for another time. I’m going to go smell Princess Newbie’s head to calm down… ok I’m good.
So once again I’ll leave you with some pictures of the newest princess but unfortunately there is no smell-a-vision for you to be able to smell her head. hmmm……
