Lately I’ve had a lot of people tell me that I should write a book. So tonight let’s just look at the top ten reasons why I should write a book.
1. To aid in my future insanity defense. I’m not sure why I’ll need an insanity defense right now but considering I live in a teeny tiny house that has placentas buried in the yard with one husband, three kids, two dogs, and two guinea pigs, I think it’s safe to say that I’ll need one in the future.
2. One day my kids can just hand the book over to their shrinks. It’ll save us a ton of time and money rather than trying to explain it all in 45 minute appointment intervals.
3. Flood assistance. Houston is well known for flooding. If a flood comes we can use the many extra books we’ll have laying around to raise all the furniture to a safe distance off the floor. Then my pantry won’t be full of the largest cans of tomatoes that I can find. Win, win.
4. I’m on number 4 and have writers block already. really?
5. Extra paper goods for those times when my family of 5 runs out of toilet paper. Then I don’t have to trick my Mother-in-Law to bring a few packages of toilet paper when she comes so I can stock up.
6. For the betterment of all humanity. You’re welcome.
7. To aid the looney bins in giving better assistance to their patients. We’ll just consider it a “case study”.
8. So I can add “writer” to my business cards.
9. So I can get business cards.
10. Maybe if I were a published author maybe my kids would stop talking back to me. Highly unlikely, ok just not going to happen, but a girl can dream (and buy ear plugs).
Maybe one day you’ll see my name in print. Until then the mental health proffesionals will just have to get along without me.Writing a Book.

Okay, you should write a book. You’re so funny.
But your kids still won’t listen to you. They may not even read your book. Or maybe my kids are just broken.
Maybe I should try again. With another book. Not another kid.
I think you should do both, a book and a kid. I think you should try to tie Lisa for kids. 🙂
You have girls. They’re drama queens. My oldest likes to pretend he shows me around the web. “There’s this video. On a site. Called YouTube. And it has a duck…” Oh, children.
Bobbie should totally write a book.
I have published all of my blog into little books. It is such fun. Not for selling, but for my family to remember me with.I love making the little books. I have six books already and plan to make many more.
That is a great idea. What a great memory to look through!
