Just a Few Ideas….
Hey guys! I hope you made it through Monday without a stopped up toilet or dropping a bottle of blue nail polish like someone we know (hint – it was me). Here’s a little fact about me that you may not know – I’m all over the place!! Ok well not normally but it turns out that this week I am kinda in a few different places.
The first place I’m at is visiting my good friend Kristi over at Moms Confession to share with her (and now you!) how to make this cute fall mason jar candelabra. I first had this idea last year and I’ll really glad that she let me make it to share with her readers. Several of these in a row could be the perfect modern detail on your Thanksgiving table. Hop over to Moms Confession to find out how to make it.
Second, I shared the idea for a White Roller Shade to Kid’s Playmat last week right here on the blog but the good news is that Blinds.com is sharing even more great ideas using the White Roller Shade. Go check out the ideas, there’s some really great ones by bloggers that I’m blessed to call friends.
Finally I want to share one of my all time favorite ideas that some of you might really need right now.
Two years ago I needed a last minute and cheap halloween costume for my adorable 2 year old. So after a visit to the dollar store, I came up with the idea for the Flower Pot Costume.
It’s easy to make. You will not even need a glue gun and the best part is that it is all from the dollar store for under $8.
In fact, she was so cute and I liked it so much that she wore it last year too:
This year she’s on to me though and has requested to be a minion or Jessie the cowgirl. However I still think the Flower Pot Costume was so sweet and perfect for any little girl. Share it with your friends that have little girls and make their halloween a little easier.
If you need me, I’ll just be here staring that that cutie patootie before she learned to talk back and talk badly about my cooking skills.

What an adorable costume!! Love it! Your daughter is a cutie.
So excited to find your blog. Now do you have any hints for cleaning fusible fleece from the bottom of my iron?? I think I should win the “Clumsy Crafter” award!

I’m sorry I don’t but if you have any hints for how to clean saran wrap off the bottom of mine I would love to hear it!
