Adult coloring pages are growing in popularity and honestly, I kinda love them. That’s one of the reasons that I made this free christmas adult coloring page printable.
So why do I love the adult coloring trend?
Is it because I want to go back to my childhood where I didn’t have to clean the house and cook every meal?
No. Maybe. Possibly.
Honestly I think adult coloring is a good idea because it helps inspire creativity in a super simple way.
As adults there’s so many days that we run non stop. There’s car pool, playdates, doctors appointments, paper work, bathrooms to be cleaned, dog medicine to administer, and the list just goes on and on.
How many of us make time in the day to be creative?
Let’s just be honest – for the creative right brainers in this world (hello, that’s us), it’s important to use our artistic sides. Without being able to create, we slowly wilt. Am I right?
Adult coloring is one of the easiest ways to be creative. You don’t have to drag out a thousand art supplies. All you have to do is print a free adult coloring page, grab your markers or colored pencils and sit down to color.
Adult coloring is a great downtime activity that you can do while sitting on the couch (using a clipboard) or even do it while riding in a car. It doesn’t have to be perfect or even worth keeping when you’re done.
Just let the colors fly and see what your brain comes up with.
That’s why I created this Christmas adult coloring printable from the song, O Holy Night.
Feel free to print it out for your own personal use and color away. As with all the printables on Clumsy Crafter, I ask that you do use this in any commercial applications.
